This is an article from New York Magazine about what young adults and kids feel comfortable publishing on the internet, while adults are cringing about what the younger generations are putting out there. According to the article it seems that anything goes.

I agree, anything does go now days. It is unfortunate that there is no way to really sensor what children are releasing. I just read when I was researching for my blog that 20% of children release their full name!
Comment by mcomfowler March 10, 2007 @ 11:11 pmIts almost to the point that kids need to start being educated in school at an early age about online privacy and safety. Children are starting to use computers and the internet at such a young age, and they need to know how to keep themselves out of trouble. Parents can’t simply say, “Don’t take candy from strangers” anymore.
